Family Photos

At the Foot Hills of Tennessee..

Thanks to a friend Danny, who drove my family to Tennessee back in thanksgiving to visit my cousins. It was a memorable trip because we were able to see the amazing scenery in that region, a place close to Walland, which is a small town north of the city of Maryville. I still can't believe that the place is just behind my cousin's place, but we drove to a really higher elevation so I really thought it was far. But it was literally, the same mountain just behind Tiya Winnie's house.

In class, I used to cite as example the Appalachian mountain ranges every time I discussed mountain formation. At that moment I realized that I stood on top of the most astounding mountain formation of the north american plates - the stretch of the Appalachian ranges.

My wife, and daughters Rossie and Riza on top of the Foothills.

It was a never ending trail of beautiful natures scene as we drove down the hills. It was already fall at that time and I promised to myself that we would go back. Who would say no to the tranquility of this lake that lies in the middle of the mountains and the water is so clear reflecting the soft rays of light of the fall sun. Oh, so calm that we wanted to stay for more hours but we still have some spots to visit in this not-so-trek and treaded side of Tennessee.
With good friends Danny and Ate Maria.

Well, when there's too much to visit, there's less time. I thought, we made our best and there is always next time. Thank you to the goodness of my cousins and niece (Tiya Winnie Ogle, Rowelyn Hawn, Lowilla Cameron and Gayleen Pace). You're all awesome and I love you.
Behind is the beautiful lake with crystal clear water.

Thanks to Mona Liza Letigio, for the photos.
The Winthrop Lake

Winthrop Lake is just a walking distance from our place. We used to hang around, feed the ducks and the turtle during summer. It is also a nice place to go biking or jogging around the trails.
Winthrop University is also one of the universities in the US that accepts International Students. I heard they have a really good program for International Baccalaureate.

One summer at Washington Memorial, Washington, DC .
The Washington Memorial is a perfect place to visit on Summer. In the picture are my three girls enjoying the  scenery around.

Hot Summer!

Myrtle Beach, SC

Never did I take my shirt off on summer, but know that we could be as hot as 110 degrees here in SC. But like most families do, we made a trip to Myrtle beach to soak ourselves with the Atlantic sea water. It was a fun family event with close friends, swimming, building sand castles, and fishing.  If you would like to forget a little of your daily routine, and the hassle-bustle of your place of work, this place is the best place to go. It is about 3.5 hours drive from my place. Well, back in my country, the beach is a throw-stone away..

So, when you feel too much stress and you can't breathe, your body is actually telling you to get a break and have fun. Rejuvenate! More pics and places to come.
